TV TIME ALTERNATIVE
A new home for your TV Time history
TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026. Cinevell was built by someone who lost their tracker too, and it can import the data file TV Time gave its users, dates and rewatches included.
Bring your history in a few minutes
- Find the file you downloaded from TV Time (usually a .zip; its .csv files work too).
- Create a free Cinevell account.
- Open the account menu → Backup & restore → TV Time → Choose TV Time export.
- Check the matches. Nothing is added until you confirm, and a big library can be paused and resumed.
What comes over
- ✅ Watched episodes and movies, with the dates you watched them
- ✅ Rewatches
- ✅ Shows you followed or saved for later (as Plan to watch) and archived shows (as On hold)
- ✅ Your favourite shows and movies
- ❌ Ratings and custom lists: TV Time’s export doesn’t carry them over to Cinevell, so you’ll rate and build lists again
Didn’t save your data?
TV Time said account data would be deleted after the shutdown, so it may not be recoverable. You can still start quickly: open a show and mark a whole season, or everything up to a season, as watched in one tap. If you used Trakt, Letterboxd, IMDb, Netflix, Simkl or an anime list, you can import from those instead.

Questions
Can I still get my TV Time data?
TV Time offered a data download before it shut down on 15 July 2026 and said account data would be deleted afterwards. If you saved that file, Cinevell can import it.
What comes over from TV Time?
Watched episodes and movies with their dates, rewatches, the shows you followed or saved for later, and your favourites. TV Time ratings and custom lists are not imported.
Is it free?
Yes. Cinevell is free to use; an optional membership with extra features is coming soon.
