Terms of use
Last updated 30 October 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Cinevell when you use the app. Please read them; they’re short.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Cinevell. Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. One person per account.
Using Cinevell
Cinevell is for keeping track of what you watch and sharing it with friends. Please don’t misuse it: no trying to reach other people’s data, overloading the service, copying it with bots, or using it for anything illegal.
Being a good friend
Your profile, photo, bio and messages must not harass, threaten, impersonate or deceive anyone, or contain hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content, or spam.
You can block anyone and report them from their profile. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
Your library, notes, lists and messages are yours. You give Cinevell permission to store and show them only as needed to run the app for you and the people you share with. You can export or delete them at any time.
Show and movie information
Information and images come from TMDB and other credited sources and belong to their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Where-to-watch information is provided by JustWatch.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Cinevell running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we aren’t liable for indirect losses from using it.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we’ll tell you why where we can.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app first. Continuing to use Cinevell after that means you accept the new terms.
